Ukrainian prisoner Balukh sentenced to five years on second case

Volodymyr Balukh, the Ukrainian political prisoner was sentenced in Crimea to five years of colony on the second case, as Krym Realii reported after the hearing.
Thus, Razdolnensky District Court sentenced Balukh to five years of the ordinary-regime colony and fined for the amount of 150 USD on the second criminal case for the "disorganization" of the temporary detention facility.

Reportedly, the Prosecutors Office requested additional four years of imprisonment for Volodymyr Balukh. He was condemned allegedly for beating up Valeriy Tkachenko, a commander of the detention facility in Rozdolne village. Although, Balukh claimed that Tkachenko attacked him.
Volodymyr Balukh was sentenced to three years and seven months of colony settlement for allegedly illegal storage of ammunition. Human rights defenders think that he was repressed for pro-Ukrainian position in particular for the Ukrainian flag in his backyard. Later, the court reduced the sentence by two months by excluding the storage of ammunition from the incitement.

Later, Balukh declared indefinite hunger strike protesting against the sentence.
On April 2, Olga Dinze, Volodymyr Balukh's attorney claimed that falsely detained was beaten up by the guard after the appeal. The administration of the detention facility refused to give Balukh a water due to his proclamation of hunger strike. Volodymyr Chykryhyn, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Crimean Human Rights Group claimed that doctors are not allowed to Balukh.
Balukh lost 30 kg because of the lasting hunger strike. It was claimed that the political prisoner switched to the dry hunger strike.

As of July 5, Balukh’s hunger strike lasts for 109 days. The lawyer reported on the deteriorating of the health condition. The political prisoner Is having pains in chest, according to him. Although,  Tatyana Moskalkova claimed that Balukh’s life is safe. She didn’t visit him but promised to do it later.
