ZeTeam on dissolution of Verkhovna Rada: "There might be a possibility"

Suspension of the coalition “European Ukraine” in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine after “People’s Front” party left it is primarily related to the desire to delay any actions connected with early parliamentary elections, as Dmytro Razumkov, Zelensky’s Advisor, said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
“I think that primarily this is related to the desire to postpone any actions related to the elections. But in such case, we will have to live by the law and act by the law. I would like that Ukraine has completely legitimate parliament, the decisions of which won’t make the electors, the state and our international partners question its competence,” Razumkov said.
He stated that “it’s hard to leave something which in fact disappeared a couple of years ago” as absence of 226 MPs in the coalition confirms that coalition does not exist anymore.

Answering the question whether the dissolution of Parliament is possible, Razumkov said: “I think there is a possibility considering what I have said. Will it happen[/img]
the coalition of the Ukrainian Parliament has ceased to be. Andriy Parubiy, the speaker said this at a plenary session on May 17.

Under Article 83, the coalition of MP factions is shaped in the Verkhovna Rada, with 226 MPs in it. This body makes the simple majority in the Parliament. The coalition offers the President candidacies of Prime Minister and Cabinet members.
Under these conditions, President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky will have no authority to disband the current Parliament; if there is no coalition, and the new one is not shaped yet, the head of the state has no such power.
