Russia violates INF nuclear treaty, - NATO Secretary General

Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, stated that the U.S. was complying with the arms control treaty, it was Russia which was a problem. He noted that the violations meant that the 1987 nuclear treaty was no longer effective, as Deutsche Welle reported.
“At a press conference in Brussels, Stoltenberg said the US was complying with the arms control treaty, the problem was Russia. The treaty could not be effective if only one side was respecting it, he said. NATO was still assessing the implications of the US decision,” the news agency reads.
Teri Schultz,, the DW correspondent in Brussels, who was present at the conference in Brussels on Wednesday, commented on Stoltenberg’s speech on Twitter:

In addition, NATO Secretary General spoke before of the coming NATO joint exercises in years - Trident Juncture 2018 is to held in Norway with 50,000 personnel from 31 countries.
