Number of earthquake victims in Nepal exceeded 5.5 thousands: localities remain without food and water

Some localities near the epicenter of tremors remain without food and water. According to the UN, it can take up to 5 days to reach some remote villages. As of the latest information, more than 5500 people died during the destructive earthquake in Nepal. Strong rains in the Thursday night forced rescue team to stop working on the spot of tragedy, informs Russian service of BBC. Kathmandu Airport continues to be overloaded and hardly copes with hosting a huge number of planes. As it was informed earlier, citizens of Nepal started blocking the roads where trucks with humanitarian aid move as a protest against the authority’s actions; as of them the latter do not pay enough attention to the liquidation of earthquake consequences.
