112 AgencyToday in the Italian Ridnau in the framework of European Biathlon Championships national team of Ukraine won a mixed relay.
As part of the Ukrainian team, Yulia Zhuravok, Iryna Varvynets, Artem Prima and Dmytro Pidruchny took part in the relay.
Zhuravok finished the first stage in the 13th place, Varvynets raised the team to the 5th position after the second stage.
Artem Prima lead Ukraine to the first place in the third stage. Before the last shooting, the difference between our national team and Russia was only five seconds, but Pidruchny shot with six cartridges, and Loginov - with eight. Dmytro left already with an advantage in 16 seconds.
This is the second gold of Ukrainians at the European Championships, earlier Iryna Varvynets won a gold medal in the sprint and silver in the pusuit.
