Ukrainian midfielder leaves Karpaty Lviv, goes to Celtic

Maryan Shved, the midfielder of Karpaty Lviv FC and the junior national team of Ukraine has signed in with Celtic.
The Ukrainian moved from the Lviv-based team to Glasgow, Daily Record reported.
The official ceremony of completing the deal is to be held this week. Karpaty will make 1.75 million Euros on the player's transfer. 
Odds are that Shved will be loaned to another team immediately after the purchase. Bernard Rogers, the Celtic manager reported that buying Shved is 'about the future'.
'The 21-year-old is set to become the fourth arrival of the January window at Parkhead as the deal nears its completion', Daily Record wrote.
Maryan Shved is a young football talent who graduated from Karpaty Lviv's football school. His professional debut took place in the 2014-2015 season. In 2015, he left Karpaty and moved to Sevilla. He spent two years there, failing to make it to the starting eleven. Shved returned to Karpaty in 2017, scoring 14 goals on 32 games, including two goals in the game against Dynamo Kyiv. He also has performed for the national team of Ukraine.
