Nationalists paint Soviet monument in Lviv

Unknown perpetrators painted the tombstone of Nikolai Kuznetsov, the Soviet reconnaissance man and the agent of NKVD (the Soviet secret police, - 112 International). Writings 'Enemy of Ukrainian Insurgent Army' and 'Executioner' appeared on the monument, located at the Glory Hill in Lviv, western Ukraine, in small hours of Thursday, June 21. 
The press center of the National Police of Lviv reported that the investigation team arrived on the scene to look into the incident, searching for those responsible.
The grave was painted before, in August 2017. 
Kuznetsov was the Soviet agent who deceased in March 1944 in Boratyn village, Lviv region, western Ukraine.
In April, the vandals desecrated the Monument of Grieving Mother in Poltava, the memorial sign to the Jewish people who fell victims to the Nazism. The eyes of the sculpture were painted black; the offenders also drew a swastika and made inscriptions. As the agency reports, anti-Semitic inscription were covered with sketches before the police arrival. Poltava police started investigating the incident. The offenders have been leaving such inscriptions there for the last 8 years. In 2011, law enforcers have identified people who did this and fined. The vandals were residents of Dnipro and Kharkiv city.
