190 students evacuated to Romania via Danube

A humanitarian headquarters has been set up in Odessa to evacuate students from Turkmenistan studying in the city. It was headed by Igor Uchytel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Odessagaz JSC.
190 students evacuated to Romania via Danube

Students are sent by bus to the village of Orlovka, Reni district, to the ferry across the Danube to Romania to the village of Isaccea. They are provided with drinking water and food rations along the way, writes Odessa Life.

As of today, 190 students have already been evacuated. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Ukraine and Turkmenistan, Viktor Maiko and Toyly Ataev, take an active part in the evacuation of the Turkmen people. The evacuation continues.

It should be reminded that the second Turkmen diaspora in Ukraine after Kharkiv is located in Odessa, about a thousand students from Turkmenistan study in the city.
