NASA launches online broadcasts of construction of Mars 2020 rover

NASA broadcasts the construction of the next Mars rover, which is planned to be sent to the Red Planet in 2020. NASA has a live]website from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, where engineers assemble Mars 2020 rover.

"There is so much happening and changing in the clean room, I come here every opportunity I get. It is great that we can share this part of our journey to the Red Planet with the public anytime they want,” said Mars 2020 project manager John McNamee.

The video is without audio, but the viewers can also watch and participate in live webchats 24 hours. The laboratory works from Monday till Friday, but it is broadcasted even on weekends and nights.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly met with NASA Administrator James Bridenstine and discussed deepening of the cooperation between Ukraine and the U.S. in the space sector.
James Bridenstine stressed interest in involvement the Ukrainian enterprises to the implementation of projects aimed at the exploration of the Moon.
