The] reports. According to the agency, he became the third minister in 24 hours to walk out of the government rather than back Theresa May’s plans for a soft Brexit.
The prime minister hammered out a compromise with her deeply divided cabinet in an all-day meeting at Chequers on Friday, but after consulting friends and allies, Johnson
decided he could not promote the deal.
A Downing Street spokesman said: “This afternoon, the prime minister accepted the resignation of Boris Johnson as foreign secretary. His replacement will be announced shortly. The prime minister thanks Boris for his work.”

As it was reported earlier, the largest sponsor of Brexit, millionaire Arron Banks at least 11 times met with Russian Ambassador Alexander Yakovenko. According to media reports, the meetings took place before the referendum on the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union, and within two months after it.
In early July it became known that the adviser to the US President John Bolton secretly met with the British eurosceptics in London. At this meeting, he said that US President Donald Trump wants to speed up the conclusion of a trade deal after the UK's withdrawal from the EU.
