The naval forces of the United States, Japan, and South Korea participate in the joint drills, where they improve their skills in the tracking of North] missiles. AFP reported that, referring to the South Korean defense ministry.
Two American ships, one Korean and one Japanese vessel that joined the exercise are known to employ the Aegis anti-missile defense system. They are to imitate detection and tracking of any potential rocket launch from North Korea, exchanging the relevant data.
