Duda to visit Kharkiv, to reaffirm Poland’s stance towards Russian aggression

By the end of the year, Polish] will have visited Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine. The head of the state will specifically touch upon the Russian aggression in Ukraine and confirm that the Polish government will carry on helping restore the destroyed infrastructure of Donbas. Witold Waszczykowski, the Polish foreign minister said that in his article for Rzeczpospolita outlet.     
‘The political season of Ukraine-Poland relations surmounts with President Andrzej Duda’s visit to Kharkiv. Poland will reaffirm its positions in terms of Russia’s violation of key norms of international law, and its part in restoring Ukraine’s infrastructure, which was destroyed due to the armed aggression,’ Waszczykowski wrote.

The minister confirmed that Poland remains among the countries, stating that ‘the international community should counteract the armed violation of the international order, despite tangible losses for Poland and Polish entrepreneurs’.
The Polish official said Russian aggression persuaded Warsaw that Ukraine’s right to freely choose its own way of development and participation in international alliances needs protection – as well as, Poland needs strengthening its own defense capability.
