Policemen guarding the Parliament in Kyiv started to let inside the protesters who apparently intend to keep on protesting. The law enforcers let those carrying tents and sleeping bags on the square in front of the Parliament’s building. Interfax Ukraine news agency reported this on Tuesday afternoon.
A group of activists led by scandalous politician Mikheil Saakashvili and MP Serhiy Leshchenko approached the police cordon; more people follow them. The police gradually let them inside.
Later, it has been revealed that meeting participants began to set tents near the Parliament’s building.
Earlier today, protesters tried to break through the cordon and broke the metal detector framework; they even captured police shields from some of the law enforcers. One policeman was injured during fights with the crowd. No detentions were reported.
