"When we talk about the Crimea, we are talking about Kherson as well: UEFA is not a political organization, we can not solve political problems. Crimea is not the only region in Europe that is a political problem. Almost every country has political turmoil. Our position is not to interfere in political affairs and try to develop the football itself. All our visits and projects will be connected with the development of football in Kherson, Ukraine, and Crimea. I know that the special committee will visit Kherson and Crimea in early September," Lakovich said.
