Russia claims it thwarts cyber attack by foreign spy agencies

Russia's Federal Security Service said on Friday it was taking measures to prevent a plot by foreign intelligence agencies to perform a cyber attack on the Russian banking system, Reuters.The Federal Security Service (FSB) said in a statement that the servers in the planned alleged cyber attack were registered to a Ukrainian company and were located in the Netherlands.
The FSB statement reported the planned attack aimed to destabilize Russia's financial system.
