
According to the
Global Peace Index 2016 Report, Ukraine is on the 156th place, i.e. it is in the second place after Yemen in the rating of fall, which dropped to 158th place during the year.
The top five countries where the Global Peace Index fell the most for the year is Turkey – 145th place, Libya – 154th, Bahrain – 132nd.

The ranking takes into account 23 factors, which include both internal – for example, the level of violence and crime in the country, and external – including relations with neighboring countries and the level of military expenditure.
