An MP whose son pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply drugs while working in her office has insisted it was private family matter.
Ishmael Osamor admitted four counts of possession with intent to supply cocaine, MDMA, ketamine and cannabis and was sentenced to a two-year community order as well as up to 20 rehabilitation days.
The conviction came while Osamor was working at his mother, Kate Osamor's constituency office in Edmonton, north London, and although he quit as a councillor in Haringey, it is understood he continues to work for her.
