Roshen dairy plant to export its products to EUDairy Plant "Rochen" has made the first deliveries of its products to the EU.

One of the largest international traders, based in the Netherlands received first delivery in September.

It is reported that during October the factory has shipped skimmed milk powder and butter to the EU for two buyers.

By the end of the year the dairy plant intends to supply about 1,000 tonnes of its products under the quota obtained.

The plant's CEO Dmitry Roshchupkin said: "Before we had signed a contract to supply to Europe, we passed many audits by customers. Their auditors team and technical experts visited our factory to ensure compliance with all quality standards, the professionalism of our employees and high technology production."

According to Roshchupkin, before the first deliveries to the EU, the plant made several agreements with these traders in other markets.

"Indeed, it is not easy to get to the European market, and there are a number of rules and restrictions that significantly impede the freshmen to enter, protecting European manufacturers. But we managed to convince our partners in the seriousness of our objectives, and that we want to and are able to perform all requirements of the European standards, regulations and directives ," Roshchupkin added.
