Jamal Khashoggi's death has caused some of the business world's most powerful bosses to pull out of Saudi Arabia's showpiece investment conference.
Top government officials have also chosen to avoid the Future Investment Initiative - nicknamed "Davos in the desert" - after Saudi officials said Mr Khashoggi had died after a fist fight.The claims have met with scepticism among many world leaders but the three-day event at the luxury Ritz-Carlton hotel in Riyadh is still going ahead, with more than 100 speakers and moderators still expected.
