Bellingcat reports Russian T-90 battle tanks in militant-controlled regions of eastern Ukraine (VIDEO)Russia used in Donbas battles its T-90 battle tank and its modifications which are the most powerful armored vehicles in the arsenal of the ground forces of the Russian Federation.

This is reported by 112 UA TV Channel citing Bellingcat.

The first serial modifications of the T-90 tanks were produced in 1992, but the delivery of these tanks to Ukraine was not carried out.

The agency says that reports that tanks of the T-90 series seen in eastern Ukraine began arriving in the summer of 2014. Until 2016, there was little visual evidence supporting such statements.

An example is a video posted on YouTube, which was allegedly filmed on August 25, 2014. Thus, the video was recorded at the end of the battle for Ilovaysk, when the terrorists were actively fighting. Noteworthy is the fact that during the battles several Russian tanks were destroyed. The edition notes that without an original file it is impossible to find out an exact date of the filming, but it’s possible to confirm the place of recording using the geolocation method.
