Russian Sberbank selling its Ukrainian subsidiary

Russian Sberbank agreed to sell its Ukrainian subsidiary to the consortium involving Latvian Norvik Banka and Belarusian companies, according to a press release of the bank.This is reported by
112 UA TV Channel.
“We hope that the decision to sell our subsidiary will help to unblock its offices and restore their normal operation that will allow the clients to continue to freely use services of one of the most stable and efficient banks in Ukraine and will be the basis for its further development,” the message says.
It is noted that the bank has necessary resources to fulfill its obligations to private and corporate clients.
Earlier it was reported that Russian Sberbank actively searches exit from Ukrainian market. Sberbank called the ban on interbank operations between the main entity and its subsidiaries discrimination.
