Death toll of Nice tragedy grows to 84, Ukrainians bring flowers to French embassyThe number of those deceased due to the tragedy in Nice raised to 84. 18 more are now at hospitals in critical condition, media reported.

About 150 more were wounded in the terrorist attack in Nice, France.

The terrorist, presumably ISIS militant, ran into the crowd as he was driving and shooting people in streets. The police killed him and later found more weapons and explosives in the truck. Identity papers of a French-Tunisian were also discovered, according to a police source quoted by news agency AFP.

Leading political figures from around the globe expressed condolences to the French nation and the government.

Ukrainian President Poroshenko almost immediately reacted to the tragedy in Nice. His late tweet (at about 2 a.m. Kyiv time) said he was ‘shocked’ upon the terrorist act. The Head of the Ukrainian state expressed sympathies to the close ones of the victims. The tweet features image of the French flag with the line on it saying 'Peace will win. Fear will lose'.

People in Urainian capital bring flowers to the building of the French embassy. 'Two youngsters were the first ones to lay flowers at about 2 a.m. Passers-by come closer, asking what’s the matter. Acting Press Secretary of French Embassy in Ukraine said the official statement on the incident will be released later today’, 112 Ukraine TV channel reported.
