The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has opened a criminal case against MP of Ukrainian Parliament and Deputy Chairman of Legislative Provision of  Law Enforcement Activities Committee Vitaly Kupry for unlawful enrichment. Journalist Dmytro Voronkov posted about this on [url=[/img]
According to Voronkov, the criminal proceeding registered in the NABU on july 12, 2018 and its number 52018000000000705. The investigative actions take place.
"According to the materials of the criminal case, the NABU suspects MP Kupry in the processing of the lawmakers' appeals to the Prosecutor General's Office in the interests of another lawmaker – member of Radical Party Serhy Rybalka. Kupry received 5,000 euro for every appeal from Rybalka. As Kupry became the author of 118 such lawmakers' requests then the NABU detectives think that his improper advantage could be 590,000 euro or 20 million hryvnia," Voronkov wrote.

According to the journalist, the NABU detectives incriminate Kupry the getting of the improper advantage by an official who occupies highly responsible position for the commitment of the actions with the use of the power in the interests of a person who provides the improper advantage.
"Such suspicion is confirmed by a fact that according to the declaration of the MP for 2017, the official incomes of Kupry do not correspond to his official expenses. Thus, last year, the MP bought as private property posh accommodations at the seaside of the Black Sea in Georgia and sea yacht BAVARIA 44 priced in few million hryvnia. All these things were bought for quite humble wage of the lawmaker," the journalist noted.

Voronkov reported that he really expects the effective work of the NABU within this investigation and that the corrupt officials in the parliament will suffer proper punishment according to the proper articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
"The practice of the writing of the lawmakers' appeal and requests for money in the interests of third parties is illegal and tortuous. The MPs who trade their own power for dollars and euros should be not in the Verkhovna Rada but in the prison cell. Of course, with the confiscation with all flats and yachts bought for money from the illegal deals," the journalist concluded.

Earlier the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecution (SAP) and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) are preparing a filing to strip the leader of Radical Party Oleh Lyashko of his deputy’s immunity.
Also, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention revealed violations in the e-declarations of Commissioner for Human Rights of the Ukrainian Parliament  Lyudmyla Denisova for 2015-2017, according to the decision of NAPC on the results of the full check of Denisova's declaration.
