Poroshenko signs amendments to law on Anti-corruption court

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law "On amendments to the law of Ukraine on the judicial system and status of judges" due to the adoption of the law "On Supreme Anti-corruption court" as the press service of the president reported.
"The amendments allow to provide the efficient beginning of the work and further functioning of the Supreme Anti-corruption court, including its appeal chamber that will be the significant step in the fight against corruption," the message said.

The law provides that the appeal consideration of the cases against the top corrupt officials will be held only by the appeal chamber of the Supreme Anti-corruption court.
"I appeal to the Supreme Qualification Commission of Judges with a request to hold the competition as soon as possible and to the Foreign Ministry to appeal to our international partners concerning the delegation of the representatives to the public council of the international experts," Poroshenko claimed.

the establishment of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court. The decision was supported by 315 deputies.
The Verkhovna Rada supported in the first reading the presidential bill number 7440 on the Anti-Corruption Court on March 1. Since that day, the head of state has called upon the people's deputies to speed up the work on the adoption of the full document.
