Suspect in the attempt of the coup d'etat and murder of the leadership of the country Volodymyr Ruban offered the prosecution to make a deal: to exchange him for two Ukrainian soldiers withheld as the hostages at the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas as his lawyer Valentyn Rybin reported on Facebook.
"Volodymyr Ruban, despite the possible negative consequences for him, agreed to make a deal with the prosecution and offered the individual exchange 1 for 2, in the result of which, Serhy Hlondar and Oleksandr Korinkov who are the hostages since the Battle of Ilovaisk could return home," he wrote.

According to Rybin, the law enforcers have not taken such action.
