Fifteen members of the crew of the Free Neptune ship returned to Ukraine from Oman. This was reported by the Marine Transport Workers Trade Union of Ukraine (MTWTU) on Facebook.
"15 members of the Free Neptune crew who have been in the Sultanate of Oman on board of this ship since summer of 2016 because of delays in wages payment by the ship-owner, returned to Ukraine today," the message says.
It is noted that all marines have been assisted by ITF (International Transport Workers' Federation), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in particular, the Consulate of Ukraine in Saudi Arabia), as well as the flag administration of Liberia and the local agent.

As it was reported earlier, Russian FSB has intercepted seven vessels following the route Mariupol - Berdiansk in the Sea of Azov during past 24 hours.
The Naval Forces of Ukraine state the tense situation in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. The Commander of Navy Ihor Voronchenko stressed that it was about ignoring the norms of international maritime law by the Russian Federation, as well as the continuing annexation of Ukrainian economic zone in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, "especially in the Sea of Azov," as he said.
