The court debates on the state treason case of former Ukraine's president Viktor Yanukovych were postponed to Tuesday, July 31 as the correspondent of 112 Ukraine reported on the results of today's court session.
The reason for the postponement is a non-appearance of the lawyers of Yanukovych for the court session. Today it lasted five minutes. The advocates filed the request to the court that they will not come for today's session as the request for the modification of the jurisdiction of the state treason case was considered by Supreme Court the same day.

Presiding judge Vladyslav Deviatko predicts that the delivery of the verdict on the state treason case will begin on August 1.
As we reported on July 17, the Obolon District Court of Kyiv canceled the questioning of the witnesses and proceeded to the debates on the state treason case of Yanukovych.

Yanukovych is charged with state treason, assistance in deliberate actions against Ukraine’s state border, sovereignty and territorial integrity and assistance in leading the aggressive war against Ukraine.
