DNR infantry battalion member detained in Donetsk region

Yesterday, on July 22, a 34-year-old woman, who is accused of participating in DNR terrorist group, was detained at Marinka checkpoint, as the press office of Donetsk National Police Central Administration reported.
According to the law enforcers, Horlivka resident entered DNR ranks in 2014. She said that she could not find a job in the city so she decided to do this. Since March 2014, she worked as security for the checkpoint in Horlivka Administration, then she completed emergency medical aid courses and “served” as a medical instructor of “the first infantry battalion” mortar battery on the frontline. Besides, the detainee was in the hot spots, near Debaltseve in particular.

In 2016 she got a job in a local hospital and continues working there as a computer operator.
“Yesterday, during the regular inspection at Marinka checkpoint, the law enforcers along with the border guards detained the member of the illegal armed formations, who was heading to Kyiv to meet her lover there. The police officers had enough data on her involvement in the terrorist group at the moment of the arrest,” the law enforcers specify.
For now, a criminal case under the article of Ukraine’s Criminal Code on the illegal organization of armed formations against the woman was opened. She faces 3-8 years of imprisonment.
