US President Donald Trump
intends to discuss with others the situation in Ukraine in the upcoming meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Trump said this at NATO summit in Brussels on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“I will meet President Putin on Monday and we will talk about Syria, interference with the elections, we will talk about different things, will talk about Ukraine…It will be very interesting to hear what he will tell me…He can deny it and say: “I did not do it.” I can tell him: “Do not do it again,” Trump said.
Trump also commented on the possibility of recognizing the annexation of Crimea by Russia has blamed the seizure of the peninsula on his predecessor Barack Obama.
“This is an interesting question because long before I came to the office, President Obama allowed this to happen. I wouldn’t have allowed it but he has. I don’t know what will happen to Crime from now on, but I am not content with what is going on there. But this is Obama’s responsibility,” he said.

As it was reported earlier, Trump threatened to pull the United State out of NATO over the disputes about defense expenditures. At the end of the meeting of “NATO-Ukraine-Georgia” commission, American President took a word and asked all the partners, except NATO member states, out. He went to with the closed meeting, having canceled all the scheduled arrangements, including the meeting with Poroshenko, as well as Presidents of Georgia, Romania, and Azerbaijan.
Reuters news agency reported that Trump did not threaten to pull out of NATO at the second day of a summit on Thursday, despite a tough rebuke of allies for spending too little on defense.
