Ukraine files the memorandum on the financing of the terrorism and racial discrimination to the UN International Court as Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin reported on Twitter.
"Today Russia will get so-called "gift" from us in the UN International Court. It weighs about 90 kilograms, consists of 17, 500 pages and contains 29 volumes. We file our memorandum on the financing of the terrorism and racial discrimination," Klimkin wrote.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko paid attention to the date of the memorandum's filing.
"It is very symbolical that the UN International Court scheduled June 12 – Day of Russia – for the filing of the memorandum in the case of Ukraine against Russia in the violation of the International Convention for the Suppression on Financing of Terrorism and the UN Convention for the Liquidation of All Form of Racial Discrimination," he wrote.
Poroshenko emphasized that the filing of this memorandum is the important stage in the proving that Russia will be responsible for all criminal actions. The president emphasized that the whole world "is convicting Russia to recognize the unlawfulness of its actions and withdraw from the occupied territories of Donbas and Crimea."

"So far, Russia continues to persistently lie that it did not occupy the Ukrainian lands, took Buk that shot down MH17 there, took BM-21 Grad from which the civilians of Mariupol, Kramatorsk and Avdiivka and the checkpoint in Volnovakha were shelled. The Russian officials persistently lie they did not recruit the terrorists who committed the explosions in Odesa, Kharkiv and Kyiv. They lie they do not survive Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars from Crimea, discriminating them in the occupation," the president noted.
He expressed the belief that it is possible to overcome such lie only with the evidence and Ukraine needs the position of the UN International Court for this "that will give an appropriate assessment to Russia's actions and will not allow to hide from the responsibility behind other manipulations and shouts "this is not us" and "we are not there".

Poroshenko added that the memorandum contains the extraordinary number of the evidence – "to left everyone doubtless that Russia committed the illegal actions and should be responsible for them."
As we reported the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry filed a suit on the violations of the International Convention for the Suppression on Financing of Terrorism and the UN Convention for the Liquidation of All Form of Racial Discrimination on January 16 to the UN International Court in the Hague.

Later Foreign Minister Klimkin specified the charges against Russia. Terrorist acts directed against unarmed civilians, financial and material support of pro-Kremlin militants, arms smuggling – these are the crimes committed by the Russian leadership against Ukraine.
Later the UN International Court demanded that Russia show how it complies with the court's decision about the restoration of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people in the annexed Crimea.
