The U.S. authorities included three Russian citizens and five companies related to Russian Federation in the sanctions list, as the document of the U.S. Department of Treasury, published on the website of the service, says.
According to the message, such measures were taken within Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA).
In particular, Aleksandr Tribun, Oleg Chirikov and Vladimir Kaganskiy along with Russian companies Erpscan, which offices are located in Amsterdam, Prague and Tel-Aviv, were included to the sanctions list. According to the document, Erpscan and Embedi are connected with Digital Security.

"The United States is engaged in an ongoing effort to counter malicious actors working at the behest of the Russian Federation and its military and intelligence units to increase Russia’s offensive cyber capabilities.  The entities designated today have directly contributed to improving Russia’s cyber and underwater capabilities through their work with the FSB and therefore jeopardize the safety and security of the United States and our allies,” Steven Mnuchin, Treasury Secretary, said.
The representatives of the U.S. Department of Treasury think that Digital Security, Divetechnoservices and Kvant are connected with Russian special services.

Earlier, the U.S. Department of State decided to impose sanctions against 28 defense structures of Russia, China and other states for violating the American legislation concerning the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
