Zhebrivsky's, former Donetsk region Head, resignation in 5 statements

Pavlo Zhebrivsky, a Ukrainian politician
, leader of the Ukrainian platform Sobor and former MP, resigned from the position of the Head of Donetsk Region Civil-Military Administration. According to him, Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, accepted his statement. It will be considered this Wednesday at the session of Ukraine’s Government.
“Three years ago the President appointed me a chairman of Donetsk Region State Administration, the Head of the Region Civil-Military Administration. Three years, extremely hard, yet intense and interesting,” Pavlo Zhebrivsky wrote on Facebook.

2. Earlier, Zhebrivsky’s CV comprised the following information: MP mandate, the Head of Zhytomyr Region State Administration, participator in the ATO (Anti-terrorist operation in Donbas conflict zone, which was replaced with the Joint Forces Operation on April 30, - ed.).
“Went to front, caught informants…Can look into the enemy’s eyes,” Petro Poroshenko described the front daily routine of Zhebrivsky at the presentation of the mayor.
3. A year later Zhebrivsky holding a new position announced about the end of the decommunization of the region:
“I have just signed the regulation on renaming all the communist names of the streets to normal. (Of which the local councils did not take care). The process of decommunization in Donetsk region, where Ukrainian Governments holds control, is over”.

4. Zhebrivsky names such accomplishments:
Opening of 12 entirely repaired schools. 12 more are expected to be opened till September;
More than 200 orphaned children received places to live thanks to the implementation of the state and regional programs;
Opening of hundreds of youth centers, 150 spot grounds and fields with the artificial cover;
More than 150 small businessmen received financial aid for their business ideas within “Ukrainian Donetsk kulak” project (kulak – in early 1900s, a category of affluent peasants in the later Russian Empire, Soviet Russia and the early Soviet Union, - ed.).
“Donetsk region was the first region in Ukraine to introduce the European norms of the environmental monitoring,“ Zhebrivsky wrote.
5. Mass media reports that Yuriy Hrymchak, the Deputy Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs, will be Zhebrivsky’s successor. In particular, according to Depo.Donbass, “the decree on Hrymchak’s appointment will be published on the President’s website soon”.

In his commentary for OstroVu Hrymchak said he heard it for the first time.
