The sister of Oleg Sentsov, a Ukrainian movie director, who was illegally convicted in Russia, said that on the 20th day of the hunger strike his health condition is critical. According to her, medical workers give him glucose every day. Nataliya Kaplan informed 112 Ukraine correspondent about this at the rally in support of Oleg Sentsov today in Kyiv.
“It is the 20th day of Oleg’s hunger strike and, of course, it is all against four years in camps, health issues which he has from the childhood. I do not think he is doing very well now, I am convinced that he is in a bad condition,” she noted.

As she said, it does not have any point to convince her brother to stop the hunger strike to make Russian authorities release the Ukrainian political prisoners.
“Oleg named the number – 64 political prisoners, but there are more of them actually. Oleg demands to release all the Ukrainian political prisoners kept in Russia and occupied Crimea,” Kaplan stressed.

Sentsov is to meet with the lawyers on June 4. Then she will probably have more detailed information.
