The investigation of the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet has not progressed at any line of inquiry. Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko claimed this as Ukrainian News reported.
'It is true, there are things we can be criticized for and I sincerely admit this. I cannot report you even about the interim result in the few resonance murder cases. Pavlo Sheremet is a famous journalist and the friend of many people present here, unfortunately, there is no essential progress progressed at any line of inquiry that are carefully worked out', Lutsenko claimed.

Moreover, Prosecutor General has also claimed there is the absence of the results in the investigation of the murder of Amina Okueva and some SBU workers.
Earlier the Interior Ministry reported that the investigation of the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet is complicated by his Russian citizenship. Ukrainian journalist Pavlo Sheremet was killed in Kyiv in the morning of July 20, 2016. The car he was driving exploded in the city’s downtown. The vehicle belonged to his civilian wife, Editor-in-Chief of Ukrainska Pravda outlet Olena Prytula; she was not in the car at the moment. The Ukrainian police qualified the explosion as intentional homicide.

On October 30, 2017, Amina Okuyeva and Adam Osmayev were on their way back home, returning to Kyiv from a different region, when they were attacked by a group of unknown shooters. Adam was driving, when the attack occurred.
