Court names organizer of murder of Babchenko

The Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv has named the surname of the supposed organizer of the murder of Russian journalist Arkadiy Babenko. It is B.L. Herman as
'The appeal on the choosing of the restrictive measure in the form of the detention of B.L. Herman was filed for the consideration of the Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv', the message said.

The restrictive measure for the suspected in the organization of Babchenko's murder will take place in the closed regime as Olena Hitlyanska, the spokeswoman of the SBU reported to 112 Ukraine
At the same time, there is information that detained B. Herman is Kyiv entrepreneur set up by the SBU as journalist Volodymyr Boiko reported on Facebook.
'The SBU claimed that Kyiv entrepreneur, who provides the goods for the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, former assistant-adviser of Mykhailo Honcharov and Ihor Plokhy MPS is the employer of the 'murder' of journalist Babchenko. Suspected Herman claims the worker of the Counterintelligence Department of the SBU appealed to him and asked to assist in the disclosure of the enemy's agent. Being dependable on the SBU as the entrepreneur who supplies goods to the Defense Ministry, Herman agreed and passed the money gotten from the curator of the Counterintelligence Department (as we know he was also SBU agent). Herman called the surname of this SBU worker and his phone number to the prosecution', the journalist claimed.

On May 29 it was reported that Arkadiy Babchenko, a Russian journalist, was murdered in Kyiv. He was allegedly shot in his apartment. Ukraine’s police suggested that the murder of the journalist was connected with his professional activity. There were also reports on Russia’s connection.
Vasyl Hrytsak, the Head of SBU, at the briefing stated that the murder of Russian journalist Arkadiy Babchenko was ordered by Russian special forces. Ukrainian citizen was enlisted for that.

Earlier President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko claimed that he knew about the staging of Babchenko's murder. At the same time, the OSCE has condemned the fact that Ukrainian institutions spread fake information on the “murder” of Arkadiy Babchenko, a Russian journalist.
