Naftogaz-Ukraine is doubtful of whether the Gazprom's allegations about unauthorized influence over the decision-making process within the arbitrary ruling. The chief commercial officer of NAK Naftogaz-Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko is doubtful about the allegations made by PAO Gazprom about a possible external influence on the ruling made by the Stockholm court of arbitration, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"I am asked to comment on the news story about Gazprom and the arbitrary court. In order to do so, there first needs to be a linguistic test of whether or not the news agency actually published this story. After that, a linguistic test maust be performed on whether or not Gazprom actually said this. Only after that I would be able to comment on this nonsense”, - Vitrenko wrote on his Facebook page.
As reported earlier, Gazprom filed a petition the the Svea county court of appeals calling for a full repeal of the court's ruling in the dispute between Gazprom and Naftogaz-Ukraine in regards to their agreement on the transshipment of natural gas.
Two arbitrary disputes between Gazprom and Naftogaz at the Arbitration Institute lasted for over three years: the dispute on the gas debt – from June 2014 to December 2017, on the transit agreement – from October 2014 to February 2018. There are less than two years left until both agreements terminate (at the end of 2019).

The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce has granted the lawsuit of Naftogaz as to compensation for the volumes of transit gas that had not been delivered by Gazprom on February 28. According to the decision of the court, Naftogaz got a $4,63 billion compensation for the transit gas that had been agreed on, but not delivered by Gazprom.
