The latest conclusions in the case of MH17 disaster and the recent developments in that of Kyrylo Vyshynsky, the detained editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti news agency, - these were among the topics that turned the attention of reporters in Saint Petersburg, where Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron met for negotiations and then gave a joint press conference.
When asked about the Joint Investigation Team's conclusions about the Buk missile launcher that downed Boeing 777 of Malaysian Airlines over Donetsk region in July 2014, the Russian leader said the following: 'Our attitude to the entire case is the following: at first, we offered to work on this case jointly, but then, it appeared that they won't let us participate in the investigation. The Ukrainian side works there, in spite of the fact that Ukraine violated the international law and failed to close the airspace over the embattled territory. But Ukraine is available there, and Russia is not. We need to become full-fledged participants in this investigation before we can recognize these conclusions... So far, I haven't even seen that text'.
The investigators from the Netherlands found another confirmation that MH17 plane was shot down from Russian 'Buk' missile system. Particularly, they got fingerprints from the ammunition. Wilbert Paulissen, the Head of Criminal Investigations Central Department of the Netherlands' National Police claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

'We have analyzed all available for us pictures of 'Buk' missile systems. We succeeded t got fingerprints from the ammunition that shot down the place. We understand that this ammunition coincided with that owned by Russia's military brigade', Paulissen said.
He added that 'the investigations confirmed that the plane was shot down from 'Buk' transferred from Russia to the uncontrolled territory'.
Dmytro Storozhuk, the First Deputy Prosecutor General reported that the joint investigation group has established that 'Buk' was in the service of Russia's Armed Forces, particularly 53rd Anti-Aircraft Rocket Brigade from Kursk.
Putin also answered the question of a French reporter who wondered about the conditions of Oleg Sentsov, the Ukrainian political prisoner, illegally detained in Russia. 'You do know that Sentsov was detained for preparing terrorist acts, not for his journalist activity, right[/img]

The law enforcement bodies held the investigative actions at the office of RIA News-Ukraine. Kyrylo Vyshynsky, the detained editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti news agency is charged with state treason.
