Ukraine’s Voters Committee denies the information that the candidates from Self Reliance (political party in Ukraine, - ed.) bribed the voters during the elections to the united territorial communities. The relevant statement was made public on the Facebook page of the organization.
Within the investigation, Ukraine’s Voters Committee determined that the food handouts in Zastavna territorial community, Chernivtsi region, is not connected with Self Reliance party.
“It was determined that the individuals involved in the food handouts are not related to the candidates of Self Reliance party. The opponent political force spread this information. It should be noted that during the elections to the united territorial communities starting from October 2015 Ukraine’s Voters Committee did not record any other cases of bribery related to this political party,” the message says.

At the same time, the relevant photo and video material, which were made public by the local mass media, and opened criminal cases confirm the cases of bribery performed by other political parties at the elections on April 29. Police opened 19 criminal cases in total, around half of them concern vote-buying.
As it was reported earlier, the elections in 40 united territorial communities were held on April 29 first-ever. Petro Poroshenko Bloc "Solidarity" informed about victory in 26 joint territorial communities out of 40. Besides, they have stated that the activity of voters in elections and voting for the representatives of the presidential political party demonstrates the support of the decentralization reform.

Olexy Koshel, the Head of Ukraine’s Voters Committee, called the elections to the united territorial communities on April 29 the dirtiest campaign of 2015. According to him, at least 25 cases of bribery were recorded during the elections, but actually, the number could be higher.
After a while, the police informed about 19 opened criminal proceedings due to the violations in the elections. Most of such cases were recorded in Odesa and Dnipro regions, five cases per each.
