1607 people were detained during “He is not our Tsar” protests in 23 Russian cities, as Ovdinfo reported.
In particular, 704 people were detained in Moscow, 229 - in St. Petersburg, 164 in Chelyabinsk, 75 – in Yakutsk, 69 – in Astrakhan, 63 – Tolyatti, 61 – in Krasnoyarsk, 56 – in Voronezh. Besides, people were detained in Krasnodar, Kaluga, Belgorod, Samara, Vladimir, Tver, Barnaul and other cities.
Earlier, Alexei Navalny was detained right after a protest started in Moscow. It happened a few minutes after he came on Pushkinskaya Square.

Police drew up a report on a father of a 12-years-old boy on breach of obligations concerning custody of a juvenile.
As it was reported earlier, 587 people were detained during the protests in Russia.

It should be noted that “He is not our Tsar” protests are dedicated to the inauguration of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, which is to be held on May 7. It is expected that 90 cities of the Federation will join the all-Russian protest.
