A fire occurred in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War today in April 27, as the press-office of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service Kyiv Central Administration reports.
The message on the fire was received at 12:26 as the representatives of the Emergency Service reported.  The rescuers who came at the site found that the ignition occurred in one of the museum’s halls on the first floor of the museum, where the suspended luminaire and a 2 square kilometers ceiling sector ignited. Museum workers tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher before the rescuers arrived.

The Emergency Service reported that the fire was eliminated at 12:41.
During the fire, 26 people were evacuated from the museum building. Five fire-rescue equipment units and 25 staff members arrived at the site.
No injured reported.
The law enforcers are defining the cause of the ignition and the damage done.
