Pipe manufacturing in January-March rises by 10.7%

The Ukrainian major pipe producers over the period between January and March 2018 raised the volume of manufactured pipes by 10.7% against the same period of 2017. Cumulatively, the pipe output has grown to 268,000 tons, which included the 99,000 tons produced in March alone, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

The Interpipe Nyzhnyodniprovsky Pipe Rolling Plant manufactured a total of 72,400 tons within the aforementioned period, which shows a 28.6% compared to the corresponding period in 2017. At the same time, the Interpipe Novomoskovsk Pipe Plant raised its level of output by 33.9%, to 24,500 tons, whereas the Interpipe Niko Tube managed to manufacture 22.9% more pipes, against the same period last year.
Pipe production at the Dnipropetrovsk Pipe plant fell to 5,200 tons, indicating a 21.2% decline. On the other hand, Centravis managed to raise its output to 4,800 tons of stainless pipes, showing a 9.1% expansion.
