Family died in result of car detonation in Luhansk region

A four-member family died at the demarcation line in Luhansk region in the result of the car detonation as the press service of the local police reported.

Earlier the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported missing of four local citizens that disappeared a few days ago.
‘During the investigative actions that aimed to establish the location of the missing family, the police found a damaged Chevrolet Niva car near the Siversky Donets River that is close to the demarcation line’, the police reported.

It was established that car supposedly ran over an anti-tank mine and the explosion took place. Four charred bodies were found at the site.
The police intend to open the criminal proceeding due to the terrorist act and it has already opened a criminal proceeding is opened due to the intentional homicide.

In December 2017, the UN report mentioned at least 2,523 dead civilians who perished in the conflict since April 2014. Back then, the number included 1,399 men, 837 women, 91 boys and 47 girls, as well as 149 people whose sex could not be identified. The number also includes the victims of the MH17 disaster, which occurred in the skies over the occupied area of Donetsk region in July 2014.
