Service options in the Ukrainian language was introduced in the ticket offices and ticket punches in Wroclaw (Silesian Lowlands, Poland), as Polskie Radio reported.
154 stationary ticket offices are being set in Wroclaw.
Besides, there are almost 3,000 ticket punches where one can purchase a ticket in public transport like buses or trolley cars. Previously, they had three language options: Polish, English and German. And now they also have Ukrainian.
Mennica Polska company, which is responsible for the tickets sale in Wroclaw has introduced a new language in the ticket terminals. According to several statistics, 10% of Wroclaw population is Ukrainians.
Earlier, the Ukrainian language was also introduced in the ticket terminals in Poznan. Besides, Poznan is the first Polish city to have launched a special subpage for Ukrainian citizens on the town’s website. Ukrainians may find the information about the town, work and education there.
As we reported earlier, around 70% of Ukrainians who secured approval to work in Poland, are working in the Schengen Area states or on places which were declared.
