The agenda of the mission also includes on-site market research in local retail networks and the meeting with members of the Ukrainian business diaspora in Ghana. According to the results of 2017, trade turnover between Ukraine and Ghana stood at $193.58 million and indicated a 70.5% growth from the figure a year earlier.
Ukrainian goods are in high demand on the African continent. The top 30 commodities with the largest potential for export to Ghana include ferrous metals and goods, live animals and animal products, engines and pumps, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, electrical equipment. After Ghana, the Ukrainian delegation will continue its mission to Nigeria, where the majority of business and government activities are going to be held on 4-6 April.
