Boryspil, Lviv airports sign agreements with Ryanair

The direction of Boryspil and Lviv airports signed the agreements on the beginning of flights with Irish low-cost Ryanair Company as reported.
Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine was present at the ceremony and welcomed the signing of the documents. It took place in one of the terminals of Boryspil Airport.

reported]that the significant part of the tickets will cost about 10 euro for the Ukrainians.
On 10 July, Ryanair informed of its decision to not enter the Ukrainian market
. The corporation said that the Boryspil international airport had sided with high-tariff airlines including Ukraine International Airlines. In turn, the airport said that Ryanair had put forward requirements that are impossible to fulfill. Also, the director of the airport Pavlo Ryabikin said that the enterprise might lose some $76 million due to Ryanair’s ultimatum.

On 13 July, the Boryspil international airport decided to resume negotiations with Ryanair. Later, Volodymyr Omelyan announced the success of these talks on a number of occasions. He also said that Ryanair is expected to start flying from Ukraine in 2018.
