Canada, Sweden allocate USD 2 mln to restore Donbas infrastructure

The governments of Canada and Sweden have assigned first two million U.S. dollars for . The Ministry for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons reported that on Tuesday afternoon. 
According to the Ministry, the money will be administered by the World Bank; it is supposed to cover the funding of priority projects, related to restoring and developing peace in Ukraine's eastern regions. This is foreseen in the National Strategy of Integration of IDPs and Long-Term Decision Making until 2020. 
Previously, Ukraine's deputy minister of occupied territories Georgiy Tuka reported that the actual amount of damage to Donbas infrastructure cannot be estimated. On the other hand, Luhansk Regional State Administration reported that since April 2014, Donbas has taken damage to the amount over 500,000 U.S. dollars.
