Andriy Parubiy, the spokesperson of the Verkhovna Rada, said that he expects NATO’s assessment of national security bill of Ukraine at the briefing of Coordination Board session on March 12 broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
“All of these innovations are implemented in NATO states and they are quite effective. This Bill is being examined by the Committee in terms of security and defense. The Committee hasn’t made a decision yet. As Parliament’s Chairman, I expect NATO’s assessment, including NATO representatives in Ukraine to consider Committee’s professional opinion and NATO’s proposals, as the Act is an important step, towards Ukraine’s integration in NATO in particular,” Parubiy said.

He noted that after the decision is made by the Committee, he will initiate the document’s presentation in Verkhovna Rada’s agenda.
Earlier, Petro Poroshenko put into force Ukraine’s Security and Defense Council’s decision concerning the national security bill presentation in Verkhovna Rada on February 5.

Later, the national security bill was presented in Verkhovna Rada.
