On Monday, a district court of Simferopol controlled by Russia has extended the arrest for the participants of 'Hizb-Ut Tahrir case' - Seyran Saliev, Memet Belyalov, Suleyman Asanov, Ernes Ametov, Server Zekiryaev and Timur Ibragimov until June 9. This was reported by Crimea.Realities agency.
In October 2017, Russian law enforcers arrested six Bakhchysarai residents. The FSB incriminates them participation in prohibited in Russia and annexed Crimea 'Hizb-Ut Tahrir’ organization.
As it was reported earlier Ukraine's foreign ministry decisively condemns the fact that the Russian court considers cases against six Ukrainian citizens, residents of Crimea; they are accused of membership in Hizb-Ut Tahrir, the Islamist movement that is banned in Russia as the 'extremist organization'.

'The ministry expressed a decisive protest against the consideration of the trumped-up cases against Ukrainian citizens, - Muslim Aliyev, Emir-Usein Kuku, Vadym Siruk, Enver Bekirov, Refat Alimov, Arsen Dzhepparov'. The ministry demands that the Russian side immediately stop the politically motivated persecution of Crimean Tatars,' reads the statement, released on Tuesday evening.
Ukraine's foreign ministry urged the international community to condemn the illegal actions of the judiciary authorities of the Russian Federation and increase pressure on the aggressor so as to release the detained Ukrainians, illegally detained in Crimea.
