Trade between Ukraine, Finland increased by 17% in 2017, - Foreign Minister

Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine claimed that the trade between Ukraine and Finland increased by 17% in 2017. He claimed this at the joint press conference with Finish Foreign Minister Timo Soini as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

‘Today we talked about the bilateral agenda, economic relations, session of the bilateral commission in September 2018, the fact that our trade increased by 17% and new Finnish investments’, the minister said.
Klimkin added that the main issues of the meetings were UN peacekeepers in Donbas and gas.

‘But the main issues and you perfectly understand, were, firstly on the situation in occupied Donbas and around occupied Donbas. It is very important for us that our Finnish friends are ready to participate in the up-coming peacekeeping mission but now we should put the pressure on Russia to make the peacekeeping mission to be real’, Klimkin claimed.
As we reported Ukraine in 2017 exported goods for 39.9 billion dollars, - it’s 19% more than in 2016.
