“20 cargo ships entered ports of annexed Crimea illegally from February 1 to March 1. All the ships were under the Russian flag. Those ships entered ports of Sevastopol and Kerch 60 times,” the message says.
The representatives of the Ministry added that 18 ships were recorded in the harbor areas of Sevastopol, Feodosia, Kerch and Yalta, which are used for anchorage. 16 among them were Russian, one was under Tanzanian flag and one under Maltese.

As we reported earlier, ports located in Crimea (Yevpatoria, Kerch, Sevastopol, Feodosia, Yalta) are closed under the regulation of The Cabinet of Ministers (on details in terms of marine and river transport functioning) and in compliance with the order of the Ministry of Infrastructure (on seaports shut-down).

Enter of ships under foreign flags into ports and terminals located in Crimea and Sevastopol will be considered a violation of international law norms, an action, which infringe the sovereignty of Ukraine and a violation of Ukraine’s legislation. This means that ship owners, ship operators and captains will bear responsibility, criminal in particular.
